Novak Djokovic celebrating at the US Open

The Hellenic Championship is due to take place between 2-8 November, 2025 and sees Novak Djokovic lead the way in a tournament that he runs. It switches from Belgrade for the first time in 2025.

It will be played on an indoor hard court at OAKA Basketball Arena, a multi-purpose venue that was used for 2004 Olympics as well as the Eurovision Song Contest.

As a result there are no past champions as it is a brand new tournament. But as well as Djokovic, currently it includes Stefanos Tsitsipas, Karen Khachanov, Stan Wawrinka, Jiri Lehecka, Luciano Darderi, Joao Fonseca and Brandon Nakashima.

It also marks the end of the current season prior to the ATP Finals. It takes place on the same week as the Moselle Open in Metz before a short break to end the year.

Predictions

Samuel Gill, Head Editor of TennisUpToDate.com has one prediction for the season closer.

Novak Djokovic in his own tournament which has moved to his new home country screams title 101 and then for him to withdraw before the ATP Finals and end his season after such a great week.

I think this will be the big gauge whether he even plays in Turin. Stefanos Tsitsipas is still in the Entry List but he has basically signalled by ending his season that he won't be in the draw.

Also throw in as potential winners, Karen Khachanov as well as a resurgent Jiri Lehecka and Sebastian Korda. Either way a great end to the year line-up assembled.

Favourites

*** Novak Djokovic

** Karen Khachanov, Sebastian Korda

* Jiri Lehecka, Luciano Darderi
