Highlights: Day 3 of the 2020 ATP Finals

On Tuesday, we witnessed a victory of Dominic Thiem against Rafael Nadal what meant that the Austrian qualified for the semifinals of the 2020 ATP Finals as we'll take a look at some of the highlights from that match.

But it was not only a match between the world number 2 and 3 that entertained fans all around the world. In the evening, we also witnessed the match between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev which was no less interesting. However, Thiem and Nadal were the first to step onto the court on Tuesday.

After defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first match, Dominic Thiem defeated also Rafael Nadal. It took him 2 tie-breaks to defeat 20-time Grand Slam champion, but he clinched the second victory and qualified for the semifinals. In the second match of the day, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev fought for the chance to still play the semifinals. After the Greek dominated the first set, Rublev came back and the tie-break of the third set decided the match. Rublev had a matchpoint and you can see what happened then in the video!
