The
ATP Finals features the top eight men from the ATP Tour battling it out in singles competition, with each player trying to end the season on a high note.
It has been a staple on the ATP calendar for decades, with the first edition being held in 1970 under a different name. Only the most elite players can qualify for this event, based off their results during the season. Although 2020 was hampered by the worldwide pandemic, there were still enough competitive matches to determine the top eight.
This year's edition features familiar faces like World No.1
Novak Djokovic, who is hoping to win his sixth title at the event.
Rafael Nadal is also on track to compete, with the goal of finally claiming the trophy that has eluded him his entire career.
However, there will be some fresh faces this season, as Russian youngster Andrey Rublev and Argentine Diego Schwartzman will be making their debut. US Open champion Dominic Thiem also has
his sights set on acquiring his maiden ATP Finals title, and defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas will be hoping to retain his title.
Regardless of the competitors, this yearly event tends to bring out the best in each player. Several amazing moments have been created, and we'll take a look at ten of the best points played ever since the event was moved to the O2 Arena in London.
