Nick Kyrgios is playing some of the best tennis he played in the past few years but he also made headlines for the wrong reasons.
The Australian played superb tennis at the Indian Wells, Miami Masters and Houston Clay event but he also had incidents at all three. From clashing with umpires to breaking his racquet Kyrgios amassed thousands of dollars of fines over the past few weeks. He took to Instagram to let fans know that he doesn't care anymore.
He wrote:
"Think I finally reached the point where I don’t care anymore. I’m a good person. I can’t force people to see my worth.”
Kyrgios has been heavily criticized in the past weeks by fans who are done with his outburst. He however apologized for every single time and this time around he seems to finally give up on justifying his actions. We'll see if he debuts a more calm demeanour on the courts.

Even Safin drew a line in the sand with outbursts. He never took it to douchebag level like Kyrgios

Oh how I wish I could converse with this young man. Like my son, he fails to understand that saying you are good and acting completely opposite will NEVER convince anyone that you are a good person. His bad behaviour on court is simply showing us who Kygrios really is. Actions speak louder than words.

Perhaps you could converse with the hecklers who yell out at strategic moments - just when he is turning the match around at his most skilful. They drive him crazy and make a killing from high end gamblers who pay them to do so. It's well-documented and several articles have emerged from the world press about the effects of heckling on a number of players. Kyrgios understands a great deal. That's why he won't go near the clay court swing where gambling on tennis is at its worst. Okay - his actions here are to simply stay away. That's a pretty strong statement and shows you who he is. A man of principle.

You mean like at the Oz open when he actively encouraged the crowd to get involved?
