"I hope it rains and they continue tomorrow" says Djokovic about his potential opponent

Novak Djokovic comfortably beat Christian Garin in the 4th round and he will face Marton Fucsovic in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon.

When Novak Djokovic finished his match against Garin, Marton Fucsovics and Andrey Rublev were still playing their match. The significance of that was that Djokovic would face one of them in the quarterfinal for a spot in the semifinal.

The match was in the 5th set and it was not yet known who might emerge victoriously. During the on-court interview Djokovic was asked about his opponents by the reporter who remarked they were in a tough battle:

"Your possible QF opponents are playing a monumental battle."

Djokovic jokingly responded:

"Wonderful. I hope it rains and they continue tomorrow."

Marton Fucsovics won that match and he will face Djokovic in the quarterfinals. It's the Hungarian's first Grand Slam quarterfinal.
