"I think I pulled something but I can't diagnose myself" - Raducanu after Nottingham retirement

Emma Raducanu retired from her Nottingham Open 1st round clash with Golubic after only 7 games and after the match, she talked briefly about it.

The 19-year-old US Open champion conceded the match while down 4-3 and a break of serve in the first set, having suffered an injury to her left side. She took an MTO but her movement eroded quickly and it was clear that it was pointless to continue.

Speaking after the match, Raducanu said:

"I think I pulled something. I cannot diagnose myself. I will get it checked out."

It's the 3rd time she has retired from a match due to an injury since last year. Raducanu also dealt with several other issues over the year never quite being able to be fully healthy.
