"If he doesn't yet, I'll go with him": Thiem's prediction comes true after Tiafoe wins Houston clay court title

Dominic Thiem predicted Frances Tiafoe to win his maiden clay trophy this year and he was right as Tiafoe did just that at the Fayez Sarofirm & Co. U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship.

The ATP sat down with a bunch of tennis players ahead of the start of the clay season to talk about their predictions for that part of the season. They asked a lot of them which player would win his first trophy on clay and Thiem predicted Tiafoe. He explained that the American loves the surface and has played in a final before which is true.

Tiafoe played in the Estoril Open final last year but lost to Sebastian Baez. He finally got it done this year as he played four matches in two days to win the trophy in Houston.
