In our Daily Dose of Social Media, we take a look back at some of the moments you may have missed from a blink and you'll miss it day on the Main Courts of Roland Garros as we head into Thursday.

Our Daily Dose of Social Media showcases some of the best and missed moments as the second round continues at Roland Garros featuring Anna Kalinskaya, Naomi Osaka, Stan Wawrinka, Andy Murray among others.

Super Stan Wawrinka defeated but showcasing his skills

No sign of stepping away from tennis as of yet, Stan Wawrinka showed today that he certainly has more to give still to the sport that he has given so much to. He lost out to Pavel Kotov 7-6, 6-4 1-6, 7-6 in favour of the Russian.

But he was certainly rolling back the years at times during their contest as his aim to battle back was in vain in the end as he lost out to Kotov. After beating Andy Murray though, he showed there is life in the old dog yet and the crowd certainly loved every minute.

Naomi Osaka thrills in one of the best matches of the year

The former World No.1 produced in one of the greatest matches seen in a long time in the WTA. But she lost out from being 5-2 up against the current World No.1 Iga Swiatek.

She lost out 7-6, 1-6, 7-5 in favour of Swiatek, but she will keep her head held high after producing her best display since becoming a mother. With an aim to peak at US Open in September, she has taken the next step of her run towards that.

Osaka said she cried after losing to Swiatek, but that it was the most fun match she has ever played and it certainly looked it with the Shot of the Day.

'Sinnerskaya' continue their launch

Albeit Jannik Sinner doesn't want to draw too much attention to it, Anna Kalinskaya was spotted again in his box during his win over Richard Gasquet as he was in hers as she opened her tournament against Clara Burel.

Kalinskaya was sat alongside her coach as she watched on as her new boyfriend saw off Richard Gasquet. Certainly not shying away from her new relationship, it will be interesting to see if he is once again in her box for her outer court tie against Bianca Andreescu tomorrow.

But she was sighted by the TV cameras. So the launch of the 'Sinnerskaya' as they could be dubbed continues.

Emma Navarro left hanging after offering high fives

Whilst Emma Navarro looks in good form at the French Open, she didn't win when it came to giving out high fives as a video was released by Eurosport of her meeting fans after her match.

Navarro got high fives from a few young fans. But one in particular wasn't playing ball and she was left hanging in the end by the kid. Might have heard her rapping skills at the Billie Jean King Cup this year and had the same opinion as Andy Roddick. The Rookie Rap and no high five for Navarro.

Yannick Noah confirmed as Laver Cup captain

Many expected Roger Federer to join Andre Agassi as the new captain of the Laver Cup. But it was a former Roland Garros winner in Yannick Noah who on the week of his greatest triumph was confirmed.

A true tennis entertainer, TennisTV put together a superb compilation of some of his best bits. He will run Team Europe from 2025.

He is a man of form though running the fortunes of France's Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup team currently as well. So certainly captain material.

Murray sends WTA plea

Andy Murray was among those who watched the utter epic between Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek and he lauded the clash calling it a brilliant watch.

But also he made a point and a plea towards the WTA to capitalise on these match-ups. A point often made about how the WTA is marketed compared to the men's game and this only heightened after the incredible tie.

So both a good and a bad point on the match from Murray who is never short of giving his opinions on his social medai account as well as his humour. "Osaka vs Swiatek is a brilliant watch. WTA need to do more to capitalise on these match ups," wrote Murray.
