Former world number three and former Roger Federer coach Ivan Ljubicic gave some advice to Jannik Sinner and it's to embrace being angrier on the court.
Sinner is a good guy by nature but sometimes that doesn't really work out in your favour. According to Ljubicic Sinner should embrace and become angry which would help him out in close matches such as the one against Rune. Sinner did get angry after the match because of that loss but Ljubicic wants to see it more of it on the court:
"Jannik definitely got angry, I saw from the way he greeted Rune at the end of the match. The truth however is that he has to react on the court, it had already happened in the past, in Vienna against Tiafoe, and he has to understand that he is in a ring and has to throw punches when he serves."
He then added:
"He has to understand what happened and the reason for this defeat, I as we all considered him the favorite of the tournament, at that point of the semi-finals. He can't always play the part of the good guy because in the end he gets made fun of him."
It's yet to happen but similar advice has been given to Hubert Hurkacz, a player he is very good friends with.
