Taylor Fritz comes back against Fucsovics in Munich

Taylor Fritz is through to the next round of the BMW Munich Open after a comeback win over Marton Fucsovics 4-6 6-3 6-4.

The American opted to play in Munich despite playing last week in Monte-Carlo and it was a solid outing for Fritz. He didn't play that well in the first set struggling a bit against the very precise and solid play against Fuscovics. He had trouble against him Indian Wells a month ago as well but like there, he was able to win the match in the end.

The American simply played much better in the second set despite struggling with his serve in both sets. Fuscovics had a lot of issues on his second serve giving too many looks to Fritz who used them to take the second set 6-3. The final set was another good one as both players played at a solid level and we see plenty of battling.

Towards the end of the set we saw Fritz taking over slowly and he was able to take a break late and then finish off the set 6-4. A bit shaky to start but good win in the end.
