restrictions in the United States have prevented foreigners from entering the
country, and within the world of tennis, it has been a commented topic after
Novak Djokovic was banned from entering to compete in the "sunshine
double" at the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells and Miami Open. At that time,
Isner expressed his support for Nole with an ironic message on Twitter:
"Don’t
worry guys, on May 11th he will be deemed safe enough to enter the USA. Until
then, he’s far too dangerous. Do not question the science, our government has
been spot on with all things Covid since the onset,”
The
37-year-old player responded to a tweet again to express his disagreement with
the restrictions. In the video, a doctor is seen going door-to-door to ask
people to get vaccinated, and a man explains his reasons for not getting
vaccinated due to the lack of information available.
"People
in America are not settled with the information that has been given to us right
now," the man said. "I'm not going to be lining up taking a shot on
vaccination for something that wasn't clear in the first place. Then you create
a shot in miraculous time, it takes years to create a vaccination." Said
the man in the video.
