Nick Kyrgios once again hinted an early retirement as he simply doesn't see himself playing past the age of 30 wanting to have a family by then.
Kyrgios spoke often about his desire to retire from tennis early, preferably around the age of 30 and that's not that far away as he'll turn 28 in April of next year. Kyrgios reiterated it once again by explaining that he wants to have a family by 30 and enjoy the spoils of his hard work together with them:
"I wanted to have a family by then and enjoy family time and
enjoy all the hard work I've put in. So if I have another couple years
like this, I think then I would say goodbye. But that's still
two-and-a-half years away, so let's see."
Kyrgios has visualized how that would look like ideally and he gave us a sneak peak:
"A big family, four, five kids, smoking a big spliff in the Bahamas, fishing maybe. I won't be working, though. I'm working enough now - in 10 years I won't be."
Time will tell whether that really happens but for now he's still focused on tennis.
