Nick Kyrgios continued to reiterate that none of the antics during his Wimbledon win over Stefanos Tsitsipas were his doing and that the Greek was the one who hit the ball into the crowd not him.
“He was the one hitting balls at me, hitting a spectator," he said to media post match.
“I didn’t do anything. Apart from me going back and forth with the umpire a bit.
“I didn’t do anything towards Stefanos today that was disrespectful, I don’t think.
“If the roles had been reversed I would have been defaulted, for sure," he continued.
There was also the question asked about Tsitsipas referring to the tie as a 'circus' and that Kyrgios was a 'bully'.
“I don’t know what he’s talking about. The circus was all him. He’s got some serious issues. He’s that soft, to come in here and say I bullied him. That’s just soft. If he was affected by that today, then that’s what’s holding him back.”
