Nick Kyrgios has criticised Dominic Thiem for defending the players involved in the Adria Tour who subsequently tested positive for Coronavirus.
Alexander Zverev tested negative at the time but like Thiem has come under fire for continuing as normal and not self-isolating with the latter in particular playing multiple tournaments since then.
He told Austrian media that Kyrgios had 'made a lot of mistakes' which prompted a comeback from the Australian who hasn't been shy when it comes to his views of the situation.
"What are you talking about
Dominic Thiem? Mistakes like smashing rackets? Swearing? Tanking a few matches here or there? Which everyone does?" Kyrgios said on Twitter.
"None of you have the intellectual level to even understand where I'm coming from. I'm trying to hold them accountable."
