World No.2, Daniil Medvedev has moved into the Last 16 at Roland Garros for the second consecutive year after brushing aside Miomir Kecmanovic in a superb display.
Medvedev sealed it 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 never looking rushed or rattled during the tie and will now face Gilles Simon or Marin Cilic next up.
In facing Kecmanovic, he was taking on one of the most in-form players on the ATP Tour but this didn't affect Medvedev one bit as he produced a sublime display with superb baseline hitting and drop shots a feature sealing it in one hour and 48 minutes.
He broke him twice to open the tie as Kecmanovic struggled to settle and in the second set, he didn't allow him a way back in as he immediately broke to edge ahead.
The Serbian found some rhythm as he reeled off three consecutive holds to pressure but Medvedev held firm and ran away with it in the third to seal a statement win.
While Andrey Rublev is through also after winning in four sets for the third consecutive time this week at the French Open edging Cristian Garin 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(11).
He rallied from a double break down in the fourth set and saved five set points in the fourth set tie break before sealing it on his fifth match point. He will now face Jannik Sinner who overcame Mackenzie McDonald 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 with the Italian also dealing with injury issues throughout and was forced to save 10 set points in the second set in particular.
