The Men's Draw has been released for the 2019 US Open with defending champion Novak Djokovic set to take on Roberto Carballes Baena.
Djokovic if he gets past the Spaniard could face a tough test in the fourth round in Stan Wawrinka or Kevin Anderson. He could also face Sam Querrey in the second round. Then it could be a repeat of the Western & Southern Open semi-finals later in the tournament; against Daniil Medvedev who will be fifth seed.
Rafael Nadal opens his campaign against
John Millman; who has giant killing form from last year when he stunned Roger Federer. Nadal will aim to add to his resume at Flushing Meadows; with a potential fourth title. Ties against Fernando Verdasco and John Isner could await the Spaniard also later in the tournament.
Other ties include Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov meeting in the first round again. Aliassime is into the Top 20 in the rankings; while Shapovalov hasn't had as good a season, it is still an interesting tie.
As is Stefanos Tsitsipas who opens against recent giant-killer
Andrey Rublev who handed out an upset to Roger Federer last week. The Greek ace though could face an up-hill battle with Nick Kyrgios potentially in the third round and in-form Roberto Bautista Agut also in his potential future.
