"Nadal is the GOAT of tactics" says Richard Gasquet

Richard Gasquet says it is almost impossible to outsmart Rafael Nadal on the court as he has called the Spaniard the "GOAT of tactics."

Gasquet, like many, closely followed the Australian Open final between Nadal and Medvedev. The match was a superb one that featured an amazing comeback by Nadal who made history with it. It featured quite a few adjustments by Nadal made during the match which is something he does very well. Richard Gasquet believes he is the GOAT when it comes to in-match tactics.

He said:

"Nadal [on who is the GOAT of tactics]. He's the one who understands tennis the best. He's able to make matches turn. He knows when to move forward, backward, were to be best placed on the court. It's really impressive."

Nadal has not played since the Austrlaian Open but will make his return in Acapuclo next week.
