Tennis star Nick Kyrgios may have opted to skip Roland Garros, but it appears the Australian has his sights set on a big return at Wimbledon.
The former World No.13 missed most of the clay-court season, citing his distaste for the surface. However, Kyrgios has always been a fixture at the All England Club, and it seems he may already be preparing for the grass Grand Slam.
Kyrgios took to Instagram to share an emotional message with his fans, showing a video of him competing against Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon.
"I feel like we come to a place in our life where no matter what we been through, deep down inside we know everything’s gonna be aight!" wrote the Cranberra native. "So laugh at the bad times, live in the moment, and know that everything truly happens for a reason!”
The Aussie has displayed some exceptional tennis this season, including winning the men's doubles events at the Australian Open and decimating World No.7 Andrey Rublev in just 52 minutes earlier this year in Miami. Although Kyrgios has slipped to World No. 76 in the ATP rankings, he will undoubtedly pose a threat to anyone if he rediscovers his form.
