Novak Djokovic traded the tennis court for a completely different kind of spotlight on Saturday as the 24-time Grand Slam champion turned Fanatics Fest in New York into his own crossover show.
The Serbian star entertained fans with a WWE-inspired entrance, a perfect start to a three-point shooting challenge and a UFC-style power test, showing once again his ability to connect with audiences beyond tennis.
Djokovic was among the biggest names attending the two-day event, which brought together figures from sport and entertainment ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. After interviewing Lionel Messi on the opening day, the Serbian continued his New York appearance by embracing the world of professional wrestling and basketball.
The highlight came when Djokovic stepped onto the WWE-style entrance ramp wearing a mask inspired by WWE star Penta, with Jacob Fatu’s music playing in the background. The tennis icon immediately embraced the moment, greeting fans, raising the energy inside the venue and finishing his walk with a Roman Reigns-inspired pose.

Djokovic embraces his inner WWE superstar in New York
Djokovic’s appearance quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of Fanatics Fest. Known throughout his career for his competitive intensity and ability to entertain crowds, the Serbian once again showed his versatility by stepping into a completely different sporting environment.
The 39-year-old did not stop there. Djokovic later moved to the basketball court for a three-point challenge, where he calmly knocked down three consecutive shots, adding some confidence and showmanship to the performance. He also tested his strength in a UFC punching challenge, recording a score of 590.

The WWE entrance was designed as a spectacle, with Djokovic fully committing to the role. After walking out wearing the Penta mask, he interacted with the crowd before removing it and celebrating the moment with a signature-style pose.
The appearance continued a busy week for Djokovic in New York. The Serbian had already been in the city for the premiere of his Prime Video documentary The Wolf in Winter at the Museum of Modern Art and later attended WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden.
