Winning a Grand Slam title is no easy feat, and several talented tennis superstars who have yet to achieve this milestone were highlighted in a recent list by The Tennis Channel.
With Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic dominating at the Majors over the last two decades, it comes as no surprise that there are less opportunities for the other stars of the ATP. Nonetheless, The Tennis Channel compiled a list of highly-recognizable and talented superstars who have challenged the Big Three, yet fell just short of winning a Major title.

Alexander Zverev came close at the 2020 US Open, but lost in a heart-breaking final to Dominic Thiem.
Casper Ruud and
Stefanos Tsitsipas have reached three and two finals respectively, but failed to take home the trophy. Aussie star
Nick Kyrgios was also mentioned on the list, as the former World No.13 fell to Djokovic in a thrilling Wimbledon final in 2022.
Nonetheless, it was Zverev who received the most love from tennis fans, who believe the Olympic Gold medalist is the best player amongst those listed. Furthermore, many fans considered the German as the only player worthy of winning a Major title.
"Zverev only serious contender here, objectively," wrote one fan.
"The only deserving name on this list is Alexander Zverev," said another fan.
"Talent? Kyrgios, but he didn't take it seriously enough. On results? Has to be Zverev," said yet another fan.
