After many changes to the rules, the 2020
Paris Masters will be played without any spectators due to new restrictions in France.
Since the situation with the world pandemic started to get worse on fall, it was already a question if it will impact the 2020 Roland Garros. However, the last Grand Slam of the 2020 season remained untouched but the last Masters' tournament of the season will be affected.
First, the fans should have been allowed to watch the 2020 Paris Masters, however, only during the day hours and semifinal and final days. Now, with the latest announcements from the French government, there will e a national lockdown starting on 30th October, which will impact also the possibility of having spectators in Paris.
Therefore, the French Tennis Federation announced that the 2020 Paris Masters will be played without spectators and that all of the tickets will be refunded. It will be still a great event with a very strong field that will battle for the title in France.
