Guido Pella has made his return to action at the Generali Open after his debacle at the US Open and Western & Southern Open and has done in style breezing past Yoshihito Nishioka in straight sets.
Pella made it back-to-back defeats for Japanese players after Kei Nishikori failed to win on his return to action. He won through in just over an hour 6-3, 6-0.
Stats wise, he hit 67% of first serve winning 79% of points and broke his serve 4/8 times while Nishioka didn't have a single opportunity to break.
Next up will be Feliciano Lopez or Pierre Hugues-Herbert - with the latter coming through Qualifying earlier today.
