The first full week of action at
Wimbledon is complete and as we head onto the latter stages, the line-up is very much a stacked affair especially on Centre Court with three top ties set to confirm the Quarter-Final line-up. Our
preview looks ahead to proceedings on all courts.
Novak Djokovic starts it all off with the seven-time champion set to take to the court to face off against
Alex de Minaur. A player who he has had mixed success against in the past and likely heralds his toughest test.
De Minaur should've faced him last year but the Aussie ace got injured against Arthur Fils on match point and had to withdraw from this tie when he had a big chance. He won't let that pass him by this time.
De Minaur won finally against Djokovic last year at the United Cup. A win that was heralded as a big deal for him after he lost pretty easily at the Australian Open the year before. He then lost in Monte-Carlo in the Quarter-Finals last year before handing Djokovic a walk-over at SW19 last year.
So while it is a mixed bag for De Minaur, it is a tough tie for Djokovic compared to the others that he has had to endure so far.

Andreeva-Navarro leads WTA line-up
Onto a tough one to call as
Mirra Andreeva faces
Emma Navarro in one of the only ties left between top ten players in the WTA draw and an exciting one at that. The Russian has one win over Navarro in Cincinnati last year.
Both have came into this tournament in a mixed run of form. Last year saw Navarro excel in London seeing off Coco Gauff and she has done the same this year reaching the second week. But recently it has not been as easy after what was a breakout 2024.
Superb last year. Can Navarro continue that onto a win over Andreeva?
Andreeva similarly after being the unbeatable queen of tennis for the early part of the season could barely win a game on grass during the pre-tournaments but as shown that matters little. Many of the title winners all lost in the first round and she like Navarro has produced when it has mattered the most.
Seeing off Mayar Sherif, Lucia Bronzetti and Hailey Baptiste, she finally gets a Centre Court chance and also an opportunity to really see where her game is against a quality operator in Navarro.
The American has had it tougher seeing off Petra Kvitova, Veronika Kudermetova and Barbora Krejcikova - all on their day have the status in the game to win against her. But what about Mirra? The latter will sense an opportunity if she can win through but the same can be said about Navarro and it could be her best chance to win a Grand Slam.
Sinner aims to continue under the radar run
From Navarro to her mixed doubles partner at the US Open (good segway),
Jannik Sinner then ends proceedings as he faces
Grigor Dimitrov.
A tie that has been kind to him in the past. Sinner won both the French Open Quarter-Final last year and also the final of Miami against Dimitrov.
So in reality, it could be comfortable. But Dimitrov being an elder statesman of the sport who seems to always find some sort of a way through could pose the biggest challenge yet.
Sinner though has been widely under the radar with Carlos Alcaraz instead courting attention albeit mainly through playing long drawn out affairs. The World No.1 has been doing as he likes which is out of the spotlight grinding wins and easing through when he can. He takes Centre Stage on Monday.
Swiatek, Shelton and Bencic among other star attractions
Perhaps a player forgotten about solely as she isn't very good on grass usually is Iga Swiatek and she faces her toughest assignment thus far in Clara Tauson.
Many would've expected Elena Rybakina. Some even had her pencilled in for the final but it wasn't to be and any more losses for the top names only help Aryna Sabalenka.
Albeit she would prefer Swiatek over most other names as a result. She plays last up on Court One. This after an intriguing tie between Ekaterina Alexandrova always a danger on grass against Belinda Bencic.
Ben Shelton got his sister the day off to watch him. Now he needs to put his money where his mouth is so to speak and he faces Lorenzo Sonego second up on Court One.
On Court Two, it is Marin Cilic continuing his evergreen run. He faces Flavio Cobolli. Liudmila Samsonova then follows against Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.
Apart from that, it is mainly doubles as that tournament aims to also reach the latter stages on Monday.
