After missing close to a year due to injury,
Rafael Nadal is set to make his return to the ATP Tour in 2024, and looks primed to take on a heavy schedule.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion has been sidelined by injury since the 2023
Australian Open. but recently announced he would be making his return. Nadal is set to compete at the upcoming
Brisbane International, before resuming his Grand Slam title quest at the Australian Open in Melbourne.
The Spaniard has already spoken about the 2024 season being his last on tour, and would like to add at least one more Grand Slam title to his illustrious resume. After almost a year of tennis inactivity and recuperation, it appears the 37-year old is ready to give his all during the first half of the upcoming season.
Nadal's tentative schedule will see him compete at Brisbane and the Australian Open to start the year. Subsequently, the former World No.1 is set to play at Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the
Olympic Games in Paris. Although he is yet to release a schedule for the second half of the year, the Spaniard will undoubtedly want to play at what could be his final US Open tournament.
