"Rafael Nadal's 13 Roland Garros titles are incredible" says Pat Cash

Rafael Nadal is the king of Roland Garros winning 13 trophies overall and that is why he has a statue at the tennis complex.

No player has been more successful on clay than Rafael Nadal and no player has played better than Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros. The Spaniard has dominated the event for years only losing a handful of times. Most of those losses came when Nadal had troubles with injuries and practically he never lost when fully healthy.

The greatness of that has been recognized by many and the latest to do so is fellow Grand Slam champion Pat cash. Speaking about Nadal, Cash remembered some of his most impressive wins including the demolition of Novak Djokovic in the final a couple of years ago. He said:

"Think of any football team that is simply unbeatable in any stadium or someone who wins the Tour de France year after year. Nadal's 13 Roland Garros titles are incredible. If you had said that 20 years ago, they would have locked you in a mental hospital."

It's certainly a record that will hardly ever get broken because Nadal is the greatest clay player of all time and it's not even close. After all, a 105-3 record at an event speaks more than anything you can add beyond that.
