Spain’s legendary tennis star
Rafael Nadal’s potential return
to action remains on track but his doctors remain reluctant to give a particular
date.
The 37-year-old has been out of action for a long time after
suffering an injury earlier this year. It was because of this reason he ended up
missing three out of the four Grand Slams.
Nadal recently posted a video hinting about his potential
comeback but as per the latest report, his doctors are reluctant to give a
particular timeline.
The former world number’s His Angel Ruiz Cotorro, while
talking at a conference on tennis medicine recently, stated that the return of
the legendary player will depend on numerous factors.
Nadal is often regarded as one of the greatest players in
the history of men’s singles tennis in the Open era, having won as many as 22
Grand Slam titles.
His most successful competition has been the French Open
where he lifted the title 14 times which is also a record in the tournament’s
history. It is because of this reason he is called the ‘King of Clay’.
Nadal became the first player in the history of men’s
singles tennis to win more than 20 Grand Slams in his career.
