Spanish tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz has been touted as one of the pillars of the next generation of tennis players, and legendary tennis coach Rick Macci had more positive things to say about the youngster.

Macci has an eye for spotting talent, having coached several Grand Slam champions during their youth. His list of wards includes WTA legends Serena and Venus Williams, five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova and former World No.1 Andy Roddick.

Alcaraz is a complete player, says Macci

The 21-year old has had an incredible start to his young career. At just 21 years of age, Alcaraz has already set several tennis records. His feats include winning four Grand Slam titles, in addition to five ATP Masters 1000 titles and capturing the World No.1 ranking.

Macci took to social media to laud the Spaniard's aggressive style of play. The American coach complemented Alcaraz on his versatility, claiming the young star was as complete a player as there is on tour.

"He has most complete game with optimal quality we have seen in many years," wrote Macci on Twitter. "When you have that many tools in the toolbox it is that one specific shot from that exact spot and Spanish Magician imagination that cannot be bought. @carlosalcaraz"
