Former world number one America’s
Andy Roddick has expressed
delight after young
Coco Gauff is now taking advice from the ex-coach of Andre
Agassi.
The 19-year-old is very highly rated in the world of tennis
but despite her talent, she has failed to deliver at the higher level as of
now.
It is because of this reason Gauff has decided to take
advice from Aggasi’s former coach Brad Gilbert ahead of the Citi Open.
Roddick, while responding to the development on his official
Twitter account, expressed delight by saying: “Hell Yes”.
Roddick was famous for his big serve and that was the reason
why he had a lot of success during his early days.
However, despite all of that talent, the 40-year-old’s reign
at the very top was short-lived as he only managed to win one Grand Slam in his
career which was the US Open in 2003.
Roddick defeated Spain’s Juan Carlos Ferrero in the final in
straight sets with a score of 6–3, 7–6(7–2), 6–3 to achieve the feat.
Other than that, the Omaha-born
also played in three finals at Wimbledon where on all three occasions, he was
defeated by the former world number Switzerland’s Roger Federer.
