"Roger Federer impressed me the most" says David Ferrer

Former tennis pro David Ferrer played against many tennis greats over the year but he was most impressed with Roger Federer.

Admittedly, the Spaniard is not the only one who was most impressed by Federer during his career but the Spaniard talked about it in a recent interview. They played 17 times during their careers and Ferrer was never able to defeat Federer in a match. Speaking to Ubitennis, Ferrer said:

"Roger Federer, because he made tennis seem like a simple sport, while any professional knows that hitting those shots on the court is very difficult."

Another Spaniard, Jose Higueras who works as a tennis coach failed to compare Federer to anybody because the Swiss ace is so unique in what he does. It's a similar sentiment to what Ferrer has with David explaining that Federer makes a complicated game like tennis look very simple.

Federer is currently working on a comeback and he should be ready to go for the 2nd part of the season. Many fans and colleagues eagerly await his return.
