As was expected,
Roger Federer is the 2020 Fans' Favourite Singles Player! The Swiss played only one tournament in 2020, but he is still the one the crowd loves the most.
The 20-time Major champion has secured the award for the mind-blowing 18th straight year. Roger has beaten all the rivals, hoping to see his fans again at the beginning of 2021, working hard on a comeback and trying to get ready for the Australian Open. Due to a knee injury, Federer played only one tournament in the season behind us, undergoing surgeries in February and May and deciding to skip the rest of the year and set eyes on 2021. If he fails to recover in time for the Australian Open, Roger's main targets in the next season should be Wimbledon, the Olympic Games and the US Open.
"Hey, it's Roger here. I hope you are all doing well in a difficult year; I want to thank you all for winning the Fans' Favorite award this year again. Thank to the ATP, to all the tennis fans out there voting for me, believing in me and wanting to see me back on the Tour. I'm training hard to make that possible. I hope I can play in front of all of you guys again very soon. Happy holiday and new year, and let's hope it all gets better next year. I have to be a little bit patient for now, and I can't wait to see you all again very soon," Roger Federer said.
