Shelton teams up with McDonald to take down doubles specialists Cabal and Farah in Acapulco

Rising star Ben Shelton teamed up with compatriot McDonald to take down former doubles pairing number one Cabal and Farah in Acapulco 7-6(5) 6-4.

The Americans utilized their signature serve + forehand tactics to create a lot of problems for the Colombians who didn't find a solution for it. It was a very exciting match and Shelton and McDonald converted four of the eight break points they had in the match. It's a major upset because Shelton and McDonald never played together before but also Cabal and Farah are very good and experienced.

The rally in the second set form 2-4 down was a major one as they were able to escape in two sets. Check out some of the match below.
