The
Stuttgart Open is due to take place between 8-14 June. Also stylised as the Boss Open. It sees Taylor Fritz as defending champion.
Taking place on the same week as the Libema Open and

A familiar haunt on the run-in towards Wimbledon, it returns for another year with Nick Kyrgios also set to return.

Predictions Stuttgart Open 2026
Samuel Gill, Head Editor for TennisUpToDate sees Alexander Zverev winning if he plays.
Alexander Zverev for me if he doesn't win Roland Garros. Otherwise I see Alexander Bublik or Flavio Cobolli taking it.
Many of the others are in too awful form including Shelton and Fritz. Learner Tien also is a pick.
While I'm intrigued about Nick Kyrgios return but won't pick him to win.
*** Alexander Zverev
** Alexander Bublik, Flavio Cobolli

Lucas Michael, Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees Tommy Paul winning the title.
The grass swing for many starts in Germany at the Stuttgart Open. A number of top players will be hoping to make the transition from clay to grass with no issues as another ATP title is on the line.
Whether Alexander Zverev competes or not on home soil is something to keep an eye on. His deep run at Roland Garros may leave him tired and wanting to prioritise other tournaments coming up like Wimbledon.
For Taylor Fritz, it is business time. While a lack of game time is worrying, he is brilliant on grass. Two titles, including this one last year, backed up by a semi-final at Wimbledon summed up a fantastic period on grass in 2026. However, those points are on the line, and he is under pressure to defend them.
For Shelton, his clay swing did not go to plan, aside from the one tournament he played in Germany. The Munich Open champion will be a contender for sure with Alexander Bublik eyeing up another ATP 250 title to add to his collection. He does blow hot and cold, making he weary about picking him.
For what I wrote about Zverev goes for Flavio Cobolli and Frances Tiafoe as well. In fact, I will be surprised to see either of them compete. A possible outsider for the title could be my pick to win it, Tommy Paul. He was excellent last year before injury halted his progress and again I feel like he could make an impact on a surface he is good on.

Cristhian Avila, Editor for TennisUpToDate.com sees Alexander Bublik winning the title.
Alexander Bublik is one of the names I expect to see performing well during this grass swing. He arrives as the fourth seed and, after a clay swing without major results, the return to grass courts could be very good news for the two-time Halle Open champion. I expect the Kazakh to go deep into the tournament and contend for the title.
World No. 3 Alexander Zverev is also an automatic contender in practically any tournament he enters, even though his results on grass have not yet been especially notable.
Czech star Jiri Lehecka has the quality to think about making a deep run on grass courts and will have big ambitions considering he is firmly in the battle to break into the Top 10. Tommy Paul and Learner Tien are the Americans I have the most confidence in right now on a surface as complicated as grass, and I believe both can go far in Stuttgart.
