Taylor Fritz ousted the last French player standing beating him in four sets in a very hostile environment at Roland Garros (French Open) even sliding in some provocation at the end of it.
Fritz was facing a very inspiring Arthur Rinderknech at the Roland Garros and he beat him in four sets 2-6 6-4 6-3 6-4. It was a very good match with the crowd heavily behind Rinderknech who played an amazing opening set to take it 6-2. Both men played pretty well but the French player risked more in the crucial moments and he was rewarded.
The second set played out a bit differently as Fritz proved better this time around. Both were pretty solid overall but Fritz took things into his own hands when it mattered the most and he got it done 6-4. The 3rd set was once again a great one from Fritz. Rinderknech risked a bit too much and it didn't work out in his favour as Fritz took it 6-3.
The final one was a very good with a pretty crazy finish. Fritz took a break and had the crucial lead but then he allowed the French player to battle back. Fritz once again broke and this time it proved enough though Rinderknech tried to get back into it.
