Rafael Nadal’s return date has been mooted mid April for the Monte-Carlo Masters but in Mallorca today (Monday), he admitted that isn’t yet for certain.
Nadal has recently been training on clay courts and organisers confirmed his spot in the swing opener between April 9-16 but an interview with Marca paints a different picture.
"I'm following my path and the truth is I don't know when I'll return,” said the Spaniard as per Marca.
Recently he has struggled with injury which led him to miss the Sunshine Double with some seeing the potential end in sight to his glittering career.
