Dominic Thiem has won the first tournament of the Adria Tour in Belgrade as he defeated Filip Krajinovic in the final.

In the group stage, Dominic Thiem was far more dominant than his Serbian opponent. While the Austrian triumphed in all 3 matches he played, his opponent lost once. On the other hand, Krajinovic defeated world number 1, Novak Djokovic on his way to the final of the Adria Tour.
Both players started the match with a good service game. They both held their service without any major difficulties as we saw only one breakpoint during the set. As none of the players was able to break the other one, the set reached a tie-break as Thiem got the first mini-break. The Austrian kept high-level on his service and added another mini-break to win the tie-break 7-2.
The 2nd set was played in a similar style. Both players were very strong on their service games and fans didn't see a break until the 4th game. Supported by the fans in Belgrade, Krajinovic managed to break Thiem's service game to get a 3-1 lead. But that wasn't the last break of that set, 'Domi' took his service game back in the next game. However, the 28-years-old Serbian didn't give up and added one more break to win the second set 4-2.
Adria Tour fans in Belgrade couldn't wish for more in the final match, it reached the third set and players battled for more than hour on the court in Novak Tennis Center. Dominic Thiem showed why he's ranked as 3rd best player in the world when he broke Krajinovic in the decisive set to earn a 2-1 lead. The Austrian didn't make any more mistakes to win the match 4-3(2), 2-4, 4-2, and the first Adria Tour tournament in Belgrade!
