"Tough to watch" says John McEnroe on Federer and Murray

Roger Federer and Andy Murray are not enjoying tennis life right now as neither is able to do what he wants to do.

Roger Federer is currently out of tennis completely as he is set to undergo another knee surgery that will keep him of the court for many months. Andy Murray on the other hand is playing right now yet the British player is unable to play tennis at the level he feels like can play it.

For John McEnroe neither is enjoyable to watch as the former pro spoke on the matter:

"You don’t want to see Roger Federer if he’s 30 or 40 in the world. It’s tough watching Murray at the moment. I admire his tenacity. I feel for him. He’s 100 in the world right now. That’s not where Andy Murray should be."

McEnroe has a point as watching Federer lose a set 0-6 at Wimbledon was a very tough thing for many Federer fans. For Murray fans watching Andy struggle at the moment is not enjoyable as well. Both players are much better than that but their bodies are not willing to cooperate at the moment.

It will interesting to see how things progress for both of them but it's becoming more and more clear that both players have their best days behind them.
