Tsitsipas, Thiem and Raonic set to kick-off third day in Paris

During the third day of play at the Paris Masters players continue fighting for the spot in the third round and there is a lot to watch already from the beginning.

The day will start with the match between Milos Raonic and Dominic Thiem. It will be a difficult task for Thiem early in the tournament. Raonic scores 19,4 aces a match and had fewer double faults in the season as the Austrian. Serve will be a really important factor in this match. But we can not forget the 5 titles of Thiem, he earned this season, what is the most on the ATP Tour.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Taylor Fritz meet in the second match during Wednesday. World number 7 Tsitsipas won 60% of his matches at Masters tournaments this year, whereas his opponent won just 38,5%. Fritz won also just 33,3% of matches against players from TOP 10 as he defeated only Zverev, Fognini and Isner and will be having a hard quest against the Greek.

Christian Garin and John Isner are the featured names in the 3rd match. Garin will need to hold his serve against the tall American and use his chances in the tie-break as Isner won 94,1% of his service games this season. Garin managed to defeat Isner this season in Montreal and so he knows how to approach the game.

Denis Shapovalov will be facing unpredictable Fabio Fognini in his 2nd round match. Shapovalov did not have much of a work in the first round as Simon retired already after first 4 games. Fognini struggled at the smaller tournaments this year, but at the Masters, he has won 15 out of the 21 matches.
