The line judge who was struck by Novak Djokovic which led to the World No.1's defaulting at the US Open has received vile death threats and messages following the incident took place.
It has been revealed that a Serbian tabloid released her Instagram details which led to a barrage of abuse including on a post dedicated to her late soon with a user writing 'You'll join him soon'.
Almost every post has now been spammed by users as a result and Djokovic has since took to Instagram to ask his #NoleFam to stop the abuse.
"Thank you for your positive messages, please also remember the linesperson that was hit by the ball last night needs our community's support too. She's done nothing wrong at all. I ask you to stay especially supportive and caring to her during this time. From these moments we grow stronger and we rise above."
He ended by saying "Europe here I come" as he looks to head to the Italian Open and French Open and put another controversy behind him.
