(VIDEO) An American Hero: Indian Wells invasion quelled by beekeeper wearing no protection

In another episode of bizarre goings on in tennis, the bee invasion also heralded a new hero at Indian Wells. The bee keeper from Killer Bee Removal who arrived like something out of an action movie with a hoover and wearing only a long sleeve top and sunglasses.

Carlos Alcaraz quickly fled the court after being attacked by a swarm of bees and stung on the head. But it was no problem for the beekeeper who in true American fashion looked unscathed as he got rid of the problem.

He even got a standing ovation and left Alcaraz and Zverev in stitches as fans asked for selfies with him. Utterly bizarre but brilliant.
