Holger Rune on the eve of his birthday prevailed against Alexander Bublik in a hotly anticipated tie at the Madrid Open which produced in the entertainment value as expected.

Bublik lost out 1-6, 6-4, 7-6(2) to the Dane who has been in superb form as of late, but in doing so saved a match point in epic style.

A superb dropshot over the net saw the crowd respond in kind and Bublik with the John Travolta looking around meme from Pulp Fiction.
