The
comedian Elliio Loney imitated several tennis players in a video during a
Wimbledon press conference, including
Novak Djokovic,
Rafael Nadal, Nick
Kyrgios, and
Andy Murray.
The video
titled "Ultimate Wimbledon Press Conference" depicts the press room
at the All England Club, with various players answering supposed questions from
the press.
The
impersonator delivered amusing dialogues, mimicking the gestures and tones of
voice of each player. For instance, he poked fun at
Nick Kyrgios' struggle to
find a coach.
“I told you
bro like, it’s really hard for me to get a coach bro, because I need to engage
someone who I actually trust and respect, which is why I’ve given it some
thought and I’ve decided to take my drug dealer on tour bro,”
In the
video, there is also an impression of Rafael Nadal talking about a supposed OCD
(Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) with his characteristic Spanish accent.
“Who is responsable
for seating up this desk. You’ll know I have the OCD, we all know Rapha have
OCD, so whoever, whatever person stated the desk you’re gonna have to know that
this have to be at least 25 centimeters away from the other microphone,”
In the
video, the imitator shows Novak Djokovic explaining the topic of the vaccine
that kept him away from several tournaments in 2021 and 2022.
“I am asked
this question a lot and thee only needle that I am interested in putting into
my body is the performance enhancing variety, anything else I am not interested
because I am not looking for immunity unless it’s immunity to losses am I right.
But I’m clearly already vaccinated for that,” he said laughing.
Other
performances by Elliot Loney included imitations of Andy Murray,
Jim Courier,
and
Bernard Tomic, all of which he uploaded in a video on his YouTube channel
