The countdown to
Roland Garros has already begun, and
Carlos Alcaraz wants to reach the second Grand Slam of the year in perfect physical condition. The player from Murcia had to withdraw from the Rome Masters before playing the ATP 1000 because his right forearm injury was aggravated at the Madrid Open. Now, Carlitos returns to the court for the first time since then to prepare for the French Open.
In a video shared by journalist Germán R. Abril on his X account, Alcaraz can be seen training in his native El Palmar, in Murcia, hitting for the first time with the racquet since the aforementioned injury.
It should be recalled that, like Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner has not played in Rome either, and both are racing against the clock to reach Roland Garros in a position to compete for victory.
