Kei Nishikori is firmly back in business with his comeback to the ATP Tour seeing him reach the Quarter-Finals at the Atlanta Open.
But Nishikori also did it with trademark flair. Facing off against Chinese ace, Juncheng Shang, it was a 6-4, 7-6 win for the former US Open finalist.
But he produced an insane no-look volley on route on the run towards the net which so easily could've gone wrong but looked effortless going right.
He will now face Taylor Fritz in a mouth watering Quarter-Final clash this evening. It is one that he is relishing also.
"We played a couple times. He’s been playing great this year. He’s a tough, tough player. Great serve. Good forehand. Aggressive. I gotta stay tough tomorrow," he said.
