One of the most heartfelt moments of the Cincinnati Open final was when Carlos Alcaraz shared an emotional moment with his brother after being defeated by Novak Djokovic.
World No. 1 Alcaraz faced 23-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic in what became a close battle for the ATP Masters 1000 title. Although the 20-year-old started out strong, winning the first set 7-5, the Serb ultimately prevailed by winning both tiebreaks across the next two sets.
This also served as a re-match of the Wimbledon final last month, where Alcaraz defeated seven-time SW19 champion Djokovic to take the second Grand Slam title of his young career.

Alcaraz says his brother makes him 'a better person'

Alcaraz was accompanied by his older brother Alvaro Alcaraz, who was watching his match from the stands in Cincinnati.
Speaking after his defeat, Alcaraz cried as he thanked Alvaro for being such an important person in his life. His brother could not help but get emotional in front of the American audience who also expressed their happiness at the outpouring of brotherly love.
"Here is also my brother. It's great to have you here and that you support me day by day, that you make me a better person every day, as well as learning from you. Thank you very much for being here," he said.
Alcaraz also has two younger brothers, Sergio and Jaime Alcaraz. Just a few weeks ago, Jaime won a Rafa Nadal Tour heat in the under-12 category, demonstrating that Alcaraz's tennis talents run in the family.
