With the
Laver Cup set to begin in a few weeks, American
John Isner revealed how much he enjoyed his teams chemistry as he prepares to represent Team World with other members of the ATP Tour.
Having been a participant since the tournament's inception in 2017, Isner is one of the more experienced members on the team. The 35-year old has a 5-4 record at the Laver Cup, and spoke on how much he looked forward to the yearly event.
"None of us really knew what to expect that first year in Prague, but it was one of the most incredible weeks and is now a highlight of my year," said Isner.
The former World No.8 will be teaming up with the likes of Denis Shapovalov, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Casper Ruud as Team World tries to finally end Team Europe's dominance at the event.
“To be on a team with guys we’re normally competing against is so different and so much fun.," revealed Isner. “We come together so well as a group, the chemistry is awesome and it’s such a great environment to be part of.”
