Western & Southern Open Cincinnati Day 1 Schedule of Play with Murray, Krejcikova, Kerber

The first day of the Western & Southern Open will bring us former champion Andy Murray to the courts as well as French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova.

The Western & Southern Open is the final major event before the US Open and will serve for many players as the main prep event ahead of the final Grand Slam of the season. One of those players is Andy Murray who will headline the first day of the event.

Play starts at 17:00 CET and Jannik Sinner will get us underway against Federico Delbonis. Sinner is refreshed and will look to continue his form shown in Washington. A bit later we will see Auger-Aliassime who wants to forget the shocking loss in Toronto. Dan Evans and Diego Schwartzman will play a bit later which is another interesting match.

Two more interesting matches from the ATP draw will see Andy Murray take on Richard Gasquet as well as Kevin Anderson playing Karen Khachanov. On the WTA side, French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova will get us underway at 17:00 CET. After that, we will see Kvitova take on Keys while Badosa will play Martic.

Elise Mertens will face off against Podoroska as Fernandez takes on Riske. Jennifer Brady will look to score a win against the tricky Alexandrova while Danielle Collins will play Shelby Rogers. The final match of the day starting at 02:30 will be Sakkari against Kerber.
