World No.1 Novak Djokovic is ready to lead Serbia in battle against Spain at this year's Davis Cup, as the group stage matches run week September 12–17.
After easily dispatching of the Republic of Korea with a score of 3-0 in their first Group C clash, the Serbians will now take on Spain in Valencia on September 15. The Spaniards got off to a rocky start, losing 0-3 to the Czech Republic.
During a press conference in preparation for the encounter, Djokovic attempted to answer a question in Spanish. The 24-time Grand Slam champion got off to a good start, but stumbled when he did not know how to say a particular word.
"What’s the word for ‘missing' in Spanish?” he asked in Spanish.
The 2023 US Open champion would go on to write this new word down on his phone, before concluding the interview.
