"You're lucky that I don't play" - Juan Martin Del Potro jokes about Team Europe Laver Cup team

Juan Martin Del Potro is not playing tennis anymore but in his time, the Argentine proved difficult to handle for the big four.

This year's Laver Cup will see Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray team up for Europe for the first time ever. It also might be the last time ever considering the stages of their careers and one player found it really amusing. Juan Martin Del Potro had a lot of success against the big four in his day.

He bested denied Novak Djokovic the Olympic Gold, he bested Nadal a couple of times as well as Andy Murray. He beat Roger Federer in the US Open final and he's one of the rare players that has at least three wins against each of them.

It is because of that, that he took a swipe at the Laver Cup announcment writing:

“You are lucky that I don’t play" - said a joking Del Potro.
