Zverev managed to overcome Andrey Rublev in straight sets to advance to the Australian Open quarterfinals

Alexander Zverev is experiencing a very good Australian open which he highlighted when he recently spoke to the media. He noted how he felt extremely happy both on the court and off the court and it showed in the results. His opponent Rublev is a personal friend and has been playing spectacularly so far this season. However, he's also played a lot of matches and that would play a part in this one.
The first set started out as expected. Both players shortened the points and were very aggressive. Neither had any issues on his serve. The first one to strike was the German who broke his opponents serve and went on to win the set 6-4. The 2nd set was a copy of the first
Again both players played extremely well on their serves. Zverev won all his 1st service points while his opponents dropped only two on his 1st serve. However, it was German again who broke his opponents serve and held on to win the whole set 6-4. Only an hour was played and we were already in the 3rd set.
It started with more of the same. Both Rublev and Zverev served well, they were winning their service points with ease and neither allowed a breakpoint early in the set. It was the German who struggled a bit during this set allowing several break point chances. He managed to save them all which visibly frustrated the tiresome Rublev.
The German went on to break Rublev's serve in the next game and win the match 6-4. It was a valiant effort from Rublev but ultimately tiredness caught up with him and he couldn't withstand the attacks of the German. For Zverev it's a good step in the right direction and another good victory for him. How far can he go?
