Emma Raducanu has shared a clip of her piano skills while wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Rafael Nadal's signature logo as she continues to recover from surgery.
2021 US Open champion Raducanu is missing a large part of the 2023 season due to injury. The Brit last competed at the Stuttgart Open and was absent from this year's Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
She will also miss the upcoming US Open and plans to return to tennis at the very end of the year. This is after she had surgery on her wrists and ankle.
While away from the court, Raducanu has had time to explore some non-tennis-related interests. Most recently, the 20-year-old posted a video of herself playing the piano.
After finishing the song, she smiled and gave a thumbs-up to the camera. The 20-year-old also shared a second video of an attempt to play the piano where she is interrupted by someone speaking in the background, causing her to burst out laughing.
Moreover, Raducanu can be seen wearing an iconic T-shirt in the video, as it features Nadal's "Raging Bull" logo.
Raducanu was also seen wearing the logo at Wimbledon 2022, where she went out to Caroline Garcia in the second round. When she was asked about the choice of shirt, she said that she wore it to try and capture Nadal's fighting spirit.
"Rafa just embodies fight. That sort of energy, that's what I'm bringing in terms of energy. I think I've had a tough year, like it's no secret," she said.
Raducanu has now started training to come back to the sport, having been seen on the practice courts in Shenyang, China, ahead of her participation at the MGM Macau Tennis Masters, an exhibition event held in December.
